People in Glidden are being advised not to drink from the tap.

The Carroll County city says that the manganese levels may be above the recommended amount. City leaders say bottled water should be used for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.

They are asking for residents not to give water to infants younger than 6 months.

The city says do not boil the water because boiling does not reduce manganese levels.
